Whitefin wins the TAG Heuer VELA Cup 2016 1st classified overall in the cruising class.
More than 200 yachts took part in the regatta, between Santa Margherita Ligure and Portofino.

Primary schools visit Whitefin
Whitefin is docked in Santa Margherita Ligure at the TAG Heuer VELA Festival. The yacht is opened to visitors and sailors of all ages!
TAG Heuer VELA Cup 2016
From May 5th to 8th Whitefin is taking part in the “Tag Heuer Vela Festival 2016” in Santa Margherita Ligure, Calata del Porto.
During the show, Whitefin is on display as a “cult yacht“, together with some of the most prestigious sailing yachts in the Mediterranean.
On May 7th Whitefin is competing in the “Tag Heuer Vela Cup” and is offering race charter for a truly unique experience.
Maintenance at Elba Shipyard

Whitefin has changed color: the burgundy hull has turned black and the blue waterline has turned golden.
Winter maintenance works in Portoferraio (Elba) are almost complete.

Bruce King’s drawings recovered
Whitefin was built in Maine, USA, and designed by Californian designer Bruce King who, after having established a reputation creating many successful, innovative ocean racing and cruising boats, moved from Newport Harbor, California, to Maine, to work on the Whitefin project.
All the original drawings have been recently recovered in Newport Beach, California.

Race charter 2016
Whitefin is ready for a new year full of regattas!
For a truly unique experience Whitefin offers race charters for a variety of yachting events throughout the Mediterranean racing season. Few experiences can compare with pushing a 92-foot classic racing yacht to her limits with an experienced and professional race crew.
Panerai Classic Yachts Challenge, Les Voiles d’Antibes, Argentario Sailing Week, Vele d’Epoca di Imperia, Cannes Régates Royales, Les Voiles de Saint-Tropez, 151 Miglia are just some of the regattas of the Mediterranean circuit. Whitefin maintains a full set of race specific sails and running rigging to maximize her performance around the track. Few things are as spectacular to behold as a spirit of tradition sloop as she charges up the track or at the starting line among a fleet of classics. Wicked.
After a full day of racing you and your guests can relax for cocktails and hors d’oeuvres, chatting with race crew and planning the next day’s assault on the fleet.
